We use a capital letter-

1. for the word I

2. at the beginning of a sentence

We begin these names with a capital letter-

1. names of people → Samina

2. names of places → Cochin

3. names of days → Sunday

4. names of months → May

We do not begin these words with a capital letter-

times of day → morning, afternoon, evening, night
