Bengali Meaning

লিপি ছোট মেয়ে। তার বয়স এখন নয়। সে তার বাবা-মায়ের সাথে সুখনগরে থাকে। প্রতি বছর গ্রামে বড় মেলা বসে। এটা এখন চলছে। লিপির বাবা নানা ধরনের মুখোশ তৈরি করেন। মেলায় সেগুলো বিক্রি করেন। “আজকে মেলায় নিয়ে যেতে পারবেন?’ লিপি তার বাবাকে জিজ্ঞেস করে, “আপনি জানেন আমাকে সারাদিন মুখোশ বিক্রি করতে হবে। তাই আমি খুব ব্যস্ত থাকব,” তার বাবা উত্তর দেয়। কিন্তু লিপি তাকে বারবার তাকে সাথে নিয়ে যেতে বলে। অবশেষে তার বাবা রাজি হন।

একসাথে দেখিনি!” সে বিস্ময়ে চিৎকার করে। তার বাবার দোকানের সামনে একটু ভিড় জমেছে। কেউ কেউ মাস্ক কিনছেন। মাস্কগুলো ভালো বিক্রি হচ্ছে দেখে তিনি আনন্দিত। ওর বাবাও খুশি। তার বাবার দোকানের পাশে এক ব্যক্তি পুতুল বিক্রি করছে। পুতুলগুলো পোড়া মাটি দিয়ে তৈরি। দোকানের ভিতরে তাকিয়ে লিপি তার বয়সী একটি মেয়েকে লক্ষ্য করে। “মেয়েটা কে বাবা?” সে জিজ্ঞাস করলো. “সে মনসুরের মেয়ে,” তার বাবা উত্তর দেয়, “তুমি গিয়ে তার সাথে কথা বলতে পারো। কিন্তু অন্য কোথাও যেও না।” “ঠিক আছে বাবা,” বলে লিপি মেয়ের কাছে যায়। “আপনার নাম কি?” লিপি জিজ্ঞেস করে। “রুবিনা,” সে উত্তর দেয়, “আমি লিপি। তুমি কি আমার মতো একই ক্লাসে পড়ে?” লিপি তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করে। শীঘ্রই, তারা বন্ধু হয়.

Bengali Meaning

কিছুক্ষন পর লিপি শুনতে পায় কে যেন তার নাম ধরে ডাকছে। এটা সুজয়, তার সহপাঠী। বাবার সঙ্গে মেলায় এসেছেন। লিপিকে দেখে সে উচ্ছ্বসিত। সে মনসুর চাচার দোকান থেকে একটা পুতুল কেনে। লিপির বাবার কাছ থেকে বাঘের মুখোশও কিনে নেয় সে। লিপি মেলা ঘুরে দেখছে। সে বিশাল আনন্দ-উচ্ছ্বাস দেখে। এতে আরোহী লোকজন আনন্দে চিৎকার করছে। কাছেই, একটা পাপেট শো শুরু হতে চলেছে। লিপি তাদের দোকান থেকে একটু এগিয়ে খাবারের স্টল দেখে। “বাবা, আমি আলু কাবলি এবং জিলাবিস পেতে চাই,” সে বলে।

সে কিছু দূরে একদল বাউলের গানও শুনতে পায়। তিনি জানেন বাউলরা বাংলার লোকশিল্পী। লিপির বাবা তাকে একটি পুতুল এবং একটি বিশাল গ্যাস বেলুন কিনে দেন। সে আনন্দময়-গো-রাউন্ডে চড়ে মজা পায়। এমনকি তার বাবা তাকে কিছু রঙিন কাঁচের চুড়িও কিনতে দেন। আলু-কাবলি আর ফুচকা খেয়ে লিপি খুব মজা পায়। সে কিছু জিলাবি ঘরে নিয়ে যায়। তার বাবা তার মায়ের জন্য একটি সুন্দর শাড়ি কিনে দেন। লিপি খুব খুশি। পরের বছর আবার মেলায় যাওয়ার ইচ্ছা আছে তার।

Ans: I would like to eat Jilabis. It is very sweet to taste. I also would like to eat Papad. This hot and oily papad is also very tasty.
